Travel Services Advisory Committee
The Travel Services Advisory Committee was created to assist in the re-engineering of the travel program at Penn. As the University’s Travel Administrator, Susan Storb leads this advisory committee as the project team launches new travel related projects. The advisory committee will work with the travel related supply management team on the initiatives listed below and their input and feedback will be critical to the success of the project.

Committee Objectives
The following is a list of some of the travel advisory committee related initiatives:
- Create a new Travel Policy and Procedures training program.
- Review and revise all University related travel policies.
- Create a travel section for the P2P web site that will streamline access to policy and procedure related information.
- Review and revise the travel forms to maintain consistency with any new policies or procedures.
- Create a new travel and entertainment services web based portal for greater visibility into approved programs and travel services providers.
- Utilize Purchasing Services resources to leverage annual spend on travel and entertainment services.
- Enhance travel related communications to faculty and staff.
Committee members attend meetings and represent the perspective of their School or Center in these discussions. Committee members will act as Champions to communicate back to their respective School or Center any new policies and procedures and procurement improvements that result from these committee meetings.
