Club Quarters is now accepting reservations for all dates starting October 15, 2009 at its newest Club Quarters at the World Trade Center. The hotel is situated at 140 Washington Street on the south side of the World Trade Center with unfettered views of what will become one of the United States’ most famous landmarks, the 1776 foot Freedom Tower.

The Axiom online booking tool, supported by American Express, and the GetThere online booking tool, supported by Marathon Travel, are now available in the “Make Airline Reservations” section of the Penn Travel Portal.

These new car rental discount pricing agreements are the result of a collaborative buying initiative with the Educational & Institutional Cooperative Services (E&I).

American Express Corporate Card

Effective August 4, 2009, Penn employees who have a University of Pennsylvania American Express Corporate Card will no longer receive their statements through the mail. Instead, monthly statements for these accounts will be provided exclusively online through a secure website from American Express called “Manage Your Card Account” (MYCA). Read More »

Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative

On June 1, 2009, the U.S. government will implement the full requirements of the land and sea phase of Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative. The proposed rules require most U.S. citizens entering the United States at sea or land ports of entry to have a passport, passport card, or other travel document approved by the Department of Homeland Security.
