Travel Services & Procurement Cards is responsible for the development and administration of all travel and entertainment related polices and procedures, management of University business card programs, such as the Purchasing Card and Fleet Card, and leveraging the University’s spending on travel and entertainment related services in order to ensure best-in-class travel services to the University. Travel Services & Procurement Cards manages travel and entertainment supplier business relationships with Purchasing Services in conjunction with the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Project.
Travel Services & Procurement Cards and Purchasing Services are collaborating on a new travel services enhancement project that is designed to re-engineer the way travel and entertainment services are provided to Penn faculty and staff. This project is the result of a collaborative supply management initiative that leverages the combined resources, experience, and capabilities of both organizations.

The mission of Travel Services & Procurement Cards is to obtain the best value for every Penn dollar spent in the procurement of travel-related products and services, while ensuring that the University receives a high level of service and operates within the fiscal guidelines outlined in the University’s Travel and Entertainment Policy.
Travel Services & Procurement Cards is committed to delivering to the University community procurement cards that allow for ease of use while maintaining standards and accountability to ensure that the procurement process supports fiscal responsibility and policy compliance.
Travel Services & Procurement Cards is also committed to improving efficiency, increasing savings and providing comprehensive data from which each school and department can manage their procurement dollars more effectively.
